Our Garden

My husband, Bob, and I garden on a small plot in Islip, which is located in Suffolk County on the south shore of Long Island, New York. We are in growing zone 7, so we can grow a huge variety of plants. We have only a quarter acre (100x125 feet) but we have it packed with deciduous and evergreen trees, shrubs and perennials, flowers and vegetables, spring and summer bulbs, annuals and grasses, a small swimming pool and chickens.
